New Hire Webhook Emitted by Paylocity when a new employee is hired. The payload contains demographic, employment, and contact fields including employeeHireDate, name, job title, pay details, cost centres, and work contact info. Call the Paylocity Employee API with companyId and employeeId to retrieve the full employee record.
Termination Webhook Emitted by Paylocity when an employee is terminated. The payload includes companyId, employeeId, employee name, cost centres, and employeeTerminationDate. Call the Paylocity Employee API for full termination details.
Employee Changed Webhook Emitted by Paylocity when an employee record is updated. The payload contains only companyId and employeeId. Call the Paylocity Employee API with these identifiers to retrieve the current employee record and determine the nature of the change.
Payroll Processed Webhook Emitted by Paylocity when a payroll run is finalised. The payload includes companyId, processId, checkDate, runId, processDate, and status. Call the Paylocity Pay Statements API with companyId and checkDate to retrieve detailed payroll data.
Time Off Approval Webhook Emitted by Paylocity when a supervisor or manager approves a time-off request. The payload includes employee identifiers, supervisor email, time-off dates, and duration. Webhooks are not sent for cancellations or changes to time-off requests.
